Baby of mine. . .

I went in for my final sonogram today, anxiously anticipating getting to sneak a peek at his/her little face or profile, but my sweet little one faced my spine the entire sonogram!! Kind of a bummer, but makes me that much more excited to see him/her in a few more weeks. The first thing the sonographer said was, "WHOA!! Look at all that HAIR!!" : ) I just laughed. I think that's the first thing she said at Hayley's AND Jack's 32 week sonograms too! The baby is also measuring around 5 pounds already! I know they can be a little off give or take a pound or so, but from my history (a 9 pounder and an 8 pounder) I'm sure they're close being right on! All measurements were closer to 34 weeks today and my dr. said provided my "cervix is ripe enough" he'll induce around 38 1/2 to 39 weeks! So there is a SLIM chance that I will end up with a November baby, but like I told my dr. today---my kids tend to be really comfy in there and don't come out any earlier than they absolutely have to. We shall see! It was an exciting day, even though I have NO idea what this baby is or what it looks like. (Besides being "chunky" and having a head full of hair.) : ) It's so hard to believe we're so close to the end---or should I say "beginning." : )

Can't believe you are this close to getting to hold that precious baby!! I am a terrible commenter, but I love hearing about what is going on with you and the latest cute things Hayley and Jack do and say:-) The Vanilla Latte quip is soo cute!! Wish we could join your table for Thanksgiving. We'll be praying for another healthy Willbanks!

I am teary thinking about this mommy journey we've been on together for the last four years. I vividly remember that day in church when you told me you were joining me in the pregnant ranks. So much has happened between then and now, some happy, some sad, and God's goodness flowing through it all. I'm so glad we've been together. Whenever something really big comes up, I always want to tell you. There's just something about the way Shelma shares it with you. It is difficult to believe that #3 is about to no longer be a number or a dream, but a reality, a spirit and soul, planned and loved by our Father. I can't wait to meet him/her. I would certainly love for him/her to not get too comfy in there and come before we go out of town!!!

I love that your babies have so much hair! Mine are always bald!

On one of your previous posts Hayley has on an ACU cheerleading outfit. You have to check out my Mom's blog where Kaylee has on the same one. The link is Mom, on my blog (I don't know how to add the link here!) Our curly-haired girls have so many similarities!
