Convicted. . .

Since I wrote my previous post, the Holy Spirit has been saying to me, "So how are you going to rejoice in this---it's the title of your blog you know?" My answer back for the past hour or so has been, "I'M NOT!!!! That was a TOTAL waste of time!!!!" But sweetly, gently, yet firmly, my thoughts have been redirected to rejoicing---that I have a daughter who is turning 3 years old next week (so many are still praying for a child), that she is healthy, vibrant, and energetic, and that this trivial incident is the hardest thing about my entire day. Thank you, Father, for my sweet Hayley and for the opportunity to make a scrapbook about her 3rd year! Thank you for reminding me to REJOICE in you ALWAYS! And to turn my frown upside down---even when things are a little messy!

I am sorry about the scrapbook. I was looking forward to seeing it. The pictures you have posted with both posts cracked me up. Sorry for laughing out loud in your stress. The one of Hayley is great because I believe that is what you wanted to do...Scream!!! I can't believe Hayley is going to be 3!!!

Thanks for reminding me to be thankful for what I have. I've been Mrs. Crumby Pants lately and need to remember all the wonderful blessings that surround me. We all need to rejoice together! And if I forget to call, I may be a little busy with my newest kid, tell Hayley Happy Birthday. Love ya and sorry to hear about your scrapbook.

Oh, I feel your frustration!!! That so stinks!! But thanks for the perspective . . .you're right - even our worst days aren't so bad compared to what others might be going through. (Although they STILL stink!)

Let's just all let out one good groan together and get it out there . . .THEN rejoice, k? It's ok to be mad for just a minute, I would think - but thanks for the good reminder of what's important in this life. You are a precious woman!

So sorry, Shelma! I have lost a few things here and there but usually when it signs me off, it gives me the option to continue from where I left off. Stinks that it didn't!!!! You are a blessing to me with the way you are always listening for the Lord's voice, even in the smallest of things.

We are so excited to celebrate with Hayley! Our babies are three!!!!

Thank you for the great reminder of what's really important in life. I sometimes feel this way when my days at home with 2 toddlers don't always go as I had planned! I love how you mentioned the Holy Spirit convicting you. I've been praying lately for this more in my life and appreciate the reminder to listen to Him.

Thanks also for the words of encouragement regarding the loss of my dad on my blog.

Wishing you a good week!
