My New Hobby. . .

I think I've finally found a hobby that Tra will not steal from me. . .online scrapbooking!! I have never gotten into scrapbooking. I tried when Hayley was born and got through her 8th month or so. I just have a really hard time really getting into scrapbooking---getting ALL the stuff out, making a huge mess and having to clean it all up before the kids get into it. Take it out, put it up, take it out, put it up, etc. For Jack's birthday (which was yesterday. . .birthday post coming soon) I made a Kodak Easyshare book for him on the internet. I did his whole first year in 3 days or so. It was probably a total of 5-6 hours that I spent on the whole thing. And I LOVE it. Well, my friend Ashley told me about a website that is online scrapbooking---backgrounds, tons of layouts, places to journal, etc. It is www.picaboo.com and I cannot begin to describe how excited I am about it! I've already started on a little 1st Birthday book for Jack and it is so much fun! No scissors, no bits of paper, no mess!! I was so excited I had to share! Also, you can email the books out on this website and you can't on Kodak's (as far as I can tell). So for anyone out there who is interested in this stuff (Courtney), you have to check it out!

picaboo does make great books -- I'm doing my first (and probably last) scrapbook right now of my 30th birthday year....then I think I'll evolve into digital

Hooray! I'll have to check it out because I've wanted to get into some digital scrapbooking that's maybe a little more involved than the books I've made so far. We can start digital scrapbooking parties where we sit next to each other on laptops and scrap our digitals! :) That is a pretty funny mental picture!

I love this website! I looked around and I am going to make one! You know I like to scrap but it does make such a mess and I don't have any room for it. I am very excited to make one of these books. It looks really easy! Thanks for sharing!

And Shelly is being modest - her online scrapbooking skills rock! Jack's book was great.

I am so excited about this...Tony is wanting me to get started tonight...my piles of pictures and boxes of "scraps" are not doing much for him...considering I have yet to complete Payton's baby book!

Thanks so much for sharing! I sure miss running into you!

Love you-

Thank you!!! I went through a scrapbooking stage, but gave up after because it was such a huge mess to get all that stuff out. I am planning to try an online book soon!

I LOVE Picaboo! Isn't it the best! I'm working on a 1st year book for Gracie Claire. So much quicker than dragging out my huge bag of stuff!
